ECL August 2026 Exam Results & System Implementation Updates
Dear Candidates and Partners,
We are pleased to inform you that the results for the August 2026 ECL examination session are now available and are being dispatched to candidates.
In line with the roll-out of the new modular exam system, several key updates regarding candidate notifications, grading scales, certificate delivery, and re-evaluation policies have been implemented. Please review the important details below.
📊 1. New Grading Scale and Result Notifications
Candidates will now receive their exam results detailed per module. Alongside the numerical percentage score, results are now accompanied by an official qualitative evaluation text:
- 90 – 100%: Passed with distinction (réussite avec mention)
- 80 – 89%: Passed – Good (réussi - bien)
- 70 – 79%: Passed – Satisfactory (réussite - satisfaisant)
- 60 – 69%: Passed – Sufficient (réussite - suffisant)
- Below 60%: Fail (échec)
💡 Note: The requirement to achieve at least 60% in each module to validate a skill applies strictly to exams taken from August 2026 onward.
📜 2. Modular Certificates & Combined Certificates
- Individual Module Certificates: A certificate is issued for each module successfully passed ($\ge 60\%$) during a session.
- 1-Year Single Certificate Combination: If you do not pass all four modules in a single session, but successfully validate all four modules within one year (calculated from the exam dates), a single unified certificate listing all four modules will automatically be issued.
- Retakes: If you retake and pass a module multiple times, only your most recent score will appear on your certificate.
🆔 3. Mandatory Place of Birth Requirement
To ensure exact compliance with international standards, certificates now explicitly state the candidate's place of birth (city/town).
⚠️ Important: Please double-check your personal information during registration. Any corrections requested after certificate issuance (including spelling of names, birth dates, or birthplaces) will incur an administrative fee.
💻 4. Introduction of Official Digital Certificates
In addition to standard printed certificates, verified Digital Certificates are now available across all exam languages.
- Format: Delivered as secure digital files bearing a qualified electronic timestamp, digital signature, and verification QR code.
- Access: Candidates can download their digital certificate directly through their candidate account portal.
🔍 5. Review and Re-evaluation Procedures
If you wish to query your results, please contact CCL Center within 15 days of result publication:
